There are many, if not hundreds, of books written for piano beginners. Therefore I did not deem it necessary to "reinvent the wheel". This book begins from where a child is not a complete beginner, has learnt to read the notes and has an established sense of rhythm.

Many of these children's songs have different variations in melody passed down from generation to generation and therefore many versions exist. There may be different versions of some of the songs included in this book.
