T Piano Books is producing a series of Greek piano books, beginning with Greek Children's Songs for Piano and Greek Christmas Songs for Piano. These books can now be bought through this web site direct from the Greek-Australian author. They are written in English for the Greek diaspora.

Learning how to play Greek music on the piano as a solo instrument can benefit the student in many ways. Grandparents can feel a sense of pride in hearing a song they knew decades ago being played by their grandchild on the piano. The child will in turn feel a closer connection to their Greek heritage. Building up a repertoire which does not only contain the classics but contains pieces their family and relatives can connect with is an extremely enriching experience.

Greek music is the most diverse in the world (or perhaps we are biased). Let us begin with Greek Children's Songs which our parents and grandparents learnt growing up and continue to expand our knowledge of Greek music.
